Here are some of my favorite sleep enhancing supplements.
Sleep, one of the most life/health altering processes, yet the most under appreciated and least worked on health habits. If you're not sleeping well, it's an immediate indicator to your overall health.
Sleep is one of the most fundamental body processes, if your sleep is bad, something is not working right within your body. Similar to eating or going the bathroom sleep is just as necessary, in fact virtually every species on the planet sleeps in one way or another. Yet, we as humans, the smartest species on the planet, treat sleep as a nuisance. We under appreciate and undervalue sleep even though it will improve so many health conditions. You fix sleep and suddenly your brain works better, fix sleep and digestion improves, sleep better at night and your mood is more positive, get a great nights sleep and suddenly you loose weight and gain muscle. You see the point...
Poor Sleep=Poor Health and performance suffers. 😴😴
This is a bad combination.
Here are four of my favorite supplements to help manage stress, lower cortisol and improve sleep.
1. L-Theanime: natures little anti anxiety supplement. It's non sedating, improves mood, calms rattled nerves and is safe for kids too.
2. Inositol: a nervous system regulator. Another great one for anxiety, but also it helps reset and bring back to normal key neurotransmitters that either may be too high or too low. A great sleep aid that can help focus and energy the next day.
3. Magnesium: 4th most abundant mineral in the body. Needed for cortisol management as well as a key component to ATP, your cells little energy source. Important for bone health as well as reducing nervous system tension. One of my top 5 most use supplements, too many benefits to list.
4. L-Taurine: An major inhibitory amino acid. It assists in the production of GABA, an important neurotransmitter to help regulate stress and lower overall excitement within the nervous system and lowers blood pressure.
